  • Account information: Name, email address, and profile picture provided through Google OAuth sign-in.
  • Website URLs: The URLs you submit for accessibility scanning.
  • Scan results: Accessibility issues, scores, and remediation data generated by our scanning engine.
  • Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the PageAuditors service
  • Process accessibility scans on the URLs you submit
  • Send scan results, alerts, and service notifications
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve our scanning engine and user experience
  • Respond to support requests

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Google: For OAuth authentication
  • Vercel: For hosting and serverless infrastructure
  • Neon: For database hosting

Scan results are accessible by scan ID URL. This is intentional to allow sharing of accessibility reports. Scans do not expose any personal account information.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication (JWT tokens), and secure payment processing through Stripe. Our database is hosted on Neon with encryption at rest.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Scan results are retained for the duration of your subscription. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of non-essential communications
